Translation is a complex process that requires not only excellent knowledge of foreign languages but also that of different professional fields and cultures, as well as translator’s expertise. Translation is not mere replacement of words in the source language with those in the target language – it is a lot more.

Ad Hoc-Centar’s translation team is made up of highly educated experts: professional translators, language teachers, native speakers and court interpreters working closely with experts from different scientific and professional fields (lawyers, economists, engineers, medical doctors, computer scientists, etc.), which guarantees translation accuracy, as well as conformity with translation norms and code of ethics. All documents are handled in a confidential manner with controlled access for third parties, unless expressly indicated otherwise by the client – which is often the case for example with texts intended for public purposes. All trade secrets and confidential information revealed through the process of translation are protected in an appropriate manner.

If the text that you send us is in an electronic format, which includes formats such as Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint, we will simply keep the original formatting in its translated version. However, if the layout/format of the original document is a little more complex – which is the case, for example, with texts containing many tables or graphs – we will do our best to preserve the layout and formatting of the source document by additional graphic editing.
